Training

Is this a replacement for a human coach?

We love human coaches — if you have the time, the budget, and the right fit, hire one. They're the gold standard. Most of us don't have all three. AIDSTATION is built for that gap: an always-on coach in your pocket that periodizes your plan, adapts on demand, and gets you to the start line fit and ready.

And if you do have a human coach, we play well together. Crew tier lets them ride along on your plan.

Do I need to do a baseline test?

You've already done it. Bring in your existing training history as .FIT files — every workout you've logged is fair game — and AIDSTATION merges that data into your plan. Your past sessions become your baseline.

What if I get sick or injured?

Tell the app. We'll re-block the plan around recovery, downgrade load, and walk you back in when you're ready. Race date stays unless you change it; the engine just gets more aggressive about catching up — within physiological limits.

Can I share my plan with a coach?

Yes. Crew tier includes coach-side dashboard access. They can read your data, comment on sessions, and override the engine's recommendations.

Data & Privacy

Who owns my training data?

You do. Always. Cancel and you can export everything as standard FIT/CSV. We don't sell, license, or train third-party models on your individual data.

Is the AI trained on my workouts?

The personalization model — the one making recommendations for you — learns from your data alone. Population-level model improvements use anonymized, aggregated signals you can opt out of in Settings.

What devices do you support?

Today, anything that exports a standard .FIT file — which is essentially every modern watch and head unit. Drop your workouts in and they're read, parsed, and merged into your plan. Direct device integrations are on the roadmap.

Race Day

Will it write me a fueling plan for an Ironman?

Yes — built from your sweat rate, race-day forecast, course profile, and prior gut tolerance. You get carb/hr targets per discipline, sodium targets, an aid-station handoff sheet, and a printable bike-special-needs list.

Multi-day adventure races?

This is a flagship use case. The engine periodizes effort across stages, plans sleep windows, and adjusts mid-race based on what you upload between stages. Crew tier lets your support team see and edit the plan live.

Can my crew see my plan during the race?

Yes. Share a read-only race-day link or invite them as crew on Crew tier. They see the playbook, your pace projection, and aid-station handoff times.

Billing

Free trial?

14 days, all features, no card on file required for the waitlist. Once you're invited off the waitlist, the trial starts when you connect your first device.

Can I pause my subscription off-season?

Yes — pause for up to 4 months per year. Your data and history stay; you just stop being charged. Common pattern: pause Nov–Feb, reactivate for base build.

Annual discount?

Two months free on annual plans. Founding-athlete pricing during private beta locks your monthly rate for life.
