Overview.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using the AIDSTATION service. It applies to all users of any AIDSTATION website, mobile application, API, or related service (collectively, the "Service"). The AUP is incorporated into and forms part of the AIDSTATION Terms and Conditions. Violation of the AUP is a breach of the Terms and may result in account suspension, termination, removal of content, or other measures described in section 13 below.
Where this AUP and the Terms appear to conflict, the Terms govern.
If you have questions about whether something is allowed, contact us at help@aidstation.pro before doing it.
Lawful use.
You must use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and codes of conduct that apply to you. This includes:
- Consumer protection, data protection, and privacy laws in your jurisdiction
- Export controls and economic sanctions laws (including U.S. OFAC restrictions)
- Anti-fraud, anti-money-laundering, and anti-bribery laws
- Intellectual property laws
- Anti-discrimination and anti-harassment laws
You may not use the Service to plan, prepare for, or carry out any unlawful activity.
Account integrity.
2.1 One account per person
You may have only one personal account on the Service. You may not create accounts using false information, automated means, or in someone else's name.
2.2 No sharing
You may not share your account, your password, or your access tokens with anyone else. You may not allow another person to train under your account on their own behalf, including a family member, training partner, or athlete you coach outside the Service.
2.3 No impersonation
You may not impersonate any person, misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity, or hold yourself out as a coach, medical professional, or other credentialed individual you are not.
2.4 Health data belongs to the person
You may only submit health, biometric, and training data that belongs to you. You may not submit another person's data (including a family member's, a child's, or a teammate's) through your account.
2.5 Accurate information
You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. Material misrepresentation of identity, age, location, or other registration details is grounds for termination.
Permitted use of AI coaching.
The Service provides AI-generated training plans, exercise recommendations, nutrition guidance, supplement suggestions, and related coaching outputs. You may use these outputs:
- To plan and execute your own training
- To inform discussions with your physician, your personal coach (outside the Service), your dietitian, or your physical therapist
- To export and keep your own records
You may not use AI outputs from the Service:
- As a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a qualified medical provider
- To make medical decisions about any other person
- To provide paid coaching, programming, or nutrition services to other athletes under your own brand or another brand that does not disclose AIDSTATION
- To represent AIDSTATION-generated plans as your own original work in a commercial context
- To train, evaluate, or develop a competing AI coaching product or any other competing AI system
Prohibited manipulation of the AI system.
The AI coaching system has built-in scope limits and refusal behaviors (for example, it will not provide pregnancy coaching, medical diagnosis, prescription drug guidance, or eating-disorder management). You may not:
- Attempt to circumvent, jailbreak, or otherwise defeat these refusal behaviors through prompt engineering, roleplay scenarios, hypotheticals, or any other technique
- Submit prompts designed to elicit dangerous, deceptive, or unsafe training, nutrition, or supplement recommendations
- Submit prompts intended to extract our system prompts, model weights, training data, or other internal configuration
- Submit prompts intended to elicit content the Service is not designed to produce (sexual content, hate speech, content harmful to minors, content facilitating illegal acts)
- Use automated tools, scripts, or scraping to interact with the AI coaching system at scale beyond reasonable individual use
Repeated attempts to manipulate the AI in these ways may trigger automated suspension and human review.
Content you submit.
You are responsible for the content you submit to the Service, including training logs, photos, notes, prompts, feedback, and contributions to shared databases. Submitted content must:
- Be lawful and consistent with the Terms and this AUP
- Belong to you, or be submitted under a right or license that lets you grant the license to AIDSTATION described in Terms §8.2
- Not contain another identifiable person's personal data without their permission (other than teammates, training partners, or coaches in their athletic or professional capacity, where reasonable in the context of training coordination)
- Not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights
- Not contain malicious code, exploits, or attempts to attack our systems
You may not submit content that:
- Promotes, depicts, or instructs on self-harm, eating disorders, doping, or substance abuse
- Threatens, harasses, defames, or incites violence against any person or group
- Contains sexual content, content sexualizing minors, or content depicting graphic violence
- Promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or other protected characteristic
- Contains spam, advertising, phishing, malware, or unauthorized commercial solicitation
We reserve the right to review, refuse, or remove any content for compliance with this AUP, with no obligation to do so.
Crowdsourced facility data.
When you contribute information about training facilities, gyms, trails, or other physical locations to our shared database, you must:
- Submit accurate descriptions to the best of your knowledge
- Not submit photos that identify other individuals without their permission
- Not submit information about private residences, including your own home address
- Not submit information about locations you do not have a right to describe (for example, restricted military or industrial facilities)
- Not use the facility submission feature for advertising, promotion, or commercial messaging
You may submit corrections or request removal of specific entries you contributed. The license described in Terms §8.3 governs how that information persists in the shared database.
Security and technical boundaries.
You may not:
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system without our prior written authorization
- Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Service, our computer systems, or the technical delivery systems of our service providers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data
- Interfere with the proper operation of the Service, including by overloading, flooding, mailbombing, or crashing it
- Submit content or queries that contain viruses, worms, malware, or other harmful code
- Attempt to bypass or disable any security measure, rate limit, or access control
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, prompts, model weights, training datasets, or system configuration of the Service
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to access or extract data from the Service beyond what our published API endpoints permit
If you discover a security vulnerability, report it responsibly to help@aidstation.pro. We will not pursue legal action against good-faith security research, provided that you: (a) do not access, modify, or exfiltrate any user data beyond the minimum strictly necessary to demonstrate the vulnerability; (b) do not degrade, interrupt, or test the availability of the Service for other users; (c) give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate before disclosing the vulnerability to any third party or publicly; and (d) otherwise comply with applicable law. Research that exceeds this scope is not authorized, and nothing in this paragraph waives our rights with respect to conduct outside it.
Third-party integrations.
When you connect AIDSTATION to a third-party service (fitness device platform, payment processor, calendar, and similar), you must:
- Use only integrations we have published and authorized
- Comply with the third party's own terms of service
- Not use an integration to import data that is not yours, that you have not been authorized to share, or that the third party has not authorized us to receive
We may disable an integration that is being misused without notice.
Commercial use.
The Service is offered to individual athletes under standard subscriptions. The following commercial uses are not permitted without a separate written agreement with AIDSTATION:
- Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing the Service or any output from the Service
- Operating a coaching, training, or programming business that delivers AIDSTATION-generated plans to clients under your own or another brand
- White-labeling, embedding, or framing the Service into another product
- Bulk acquisition or operation of accounts on behalf of multiple individuals (for example, a gym or club providing the Service to its members)
- Competitive benchmarking or testing for the purpose of building a competing service
- Use of AIDSTATION outputs to train or refine another AI system
Sharing your own training plan with a personal coach you work with outside the Service, or with training partners and teammates within the Service's team features, is allowed.
Respect for other users.
When you interact with other users through team features, leaderboards, comments, shared facility data, or any other communal feature, you must:
- Treat other users with civility
- Not harass, threaten, intimidate, dox, stalk, or send unwanted contact to any other user
- Not use information shared by teammates (their training plans) for any purpose other than coordinating shared training and racing — in particular, not for competitive intelligence against athletes outside the team, public commentary, or commercial use
- Not attempt to identify, contact, or build profiles of other users beyond what the Service's features expressly support
Race rules and sport-specific compliance.
You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service is consistent with the rules of any race, event, federation, or sanctioning body that applies to you.
- Some events restrict or prohibit the use of outside coaching tools during the event itself. AIDSTATION is not a participant in or party to those rules; you must comply with them.
- Some events have specific equipment, fueling, or assistance restrictions. The Service's recommendations may include things that are not permitted in your specific event. Verify against your event's rules before acting on recommendations.
- The Service is not a doping management tool. We will not generate plans designed to circumvent anti-doping rules, mask substance use, or otherwise undermine sport integrity. Attempting to use the Service for these purposes is grounds for immediate termination.
Reporting violations.
If you believe another user or any content is violating this AUP, the Terms, or applicable law, please report it to help@aidstation.pro with:
- A description of the issue
- The user, content, or feature involved (where applicable)
- Any supporting information
We review reports in good faith. We do not respond to every report individually, but we act on credible reports consistent with this AUP and the Terms.
For copyright complaints, follow the DMCA notice-and-takedown procedure described in Terms §8.6 and published at aidstation.pro/dmca, which lists the Designated Agent, the required notice contents, and the counter-notification process. Non-copyright complaints (trademark, right of publicity, defamation, and similar) are not handled under the DMCA process — send those to help@aidstation.pro.
Enforcement.
13.1 Range of responses
For violations of this AUP, we may take one or more of the following actions, proportionate to the severity, frequency, and impact of the violation:
- Warning, with a request to correct the behavior
- Removal or hiding of specific content
- Suspension of specific features (for example, team participation, AI coaching, facility contributions)
- Temporary suspension of the entire account
- Permanent termination of the account
- Reporting to law enforcement where required or appropriate
- Civil legal action where damages have been caused
13.2 Account suspension without prior notice
We may suspend or terminate access without prior notice in cases of:
- Imminent security risk to the Service or other users
- Suspected fraud, account takeover, or coordinated abuse
- Conduct that exposes us to legal liability
- Court order, regulatory action, or law enforcement request requiring it
- Severe single incidents (threats of violence, content harmful to minors, large-scale data extraction)
13.3 Appeals
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, contact help@aidstation.pro. Include your account email and a description of why you believe the action was incorrect. We will review in good faith. For some categories (court-ordered actions, regulatory blocks, severe single incidents), reversal may not be possible.
13.4 No refund for cause
If we terminate your account for material breach of the AUP or Terms, no refund of prepaid subscription fees is due. The Terms govern other refund situations.
Examples.
These examples illustrate how the AUP applies. They are not the full set of prohibited behaviors, and behavior not described below can still violate the AUP.
- Sharing your training plan with your personal coach by exporting it from the Service.
- Joining a team with five other adventure racers training for the same event and viewing each other's plans within the team feature.
- Contributing a description of the trail system at your local park to the facility database.
- Asking the AI coach why it is recommending a particular intensity zone, and following its explanation.
- Reporting a UI bug you discovered while exploring the app's settings.
- Running a paid coaching service in which you charge clients to follow plans you generated for them on AIDSTATION.
- Creating multiple accounts so you can use the Service for both yourself and the athletes you coach.
- Submitting your spouse's heart rate and sleep data through your own account because they don't want to set up their own.
- Crafting a prompt to make the AI describe how to recover from heavy training while masking a banned substance.
- Writing a script that hits AIDSTATION's API to extract the full exercise library for use in a competing app.
- Sharing a teammate's training plan publicly on social media without their consent.
- Using the facility database to advertise your gym's products and services.
Updates to this policy.
We may update this AUP from time to time. When we make material changes:
- We will update the "Last updated" date at the top
- We will give in-app or email notice at least 30 days before the changes take effect, except where a shorter notice is required by law, regulator, or urgent security need
- Where required by law, we will request your renewed consent
Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP. If you do not agree, you may close your account before the effective date.
